@Ari I saw news of a new H3s model releasing in a few days. Will this projector come to the US market? Or is there a different projector coming to the US?
Thanks

We continue to get white dots, now again in the middle of the screen. Support has not replied to me in weeks.
Just following up. It's been about a month since the issue started, and the white spots are rapidly multiplying. I now have two in the middle of the view, and hundreds around the edges of the display. It almost looks like a constellation.
Since I am out of warranty and have not heard back from support for an estimate, I think I will need to purchase another projector. I am probably going switch to a different manufacturer. I can't afford to drop $700 every year to replace it, nor should anyone need to.
@Ari This was purchased at Amazon.com from Xgimi-Direct. Serial # GHXAK112ZXBC
@Arvydas said in White dots:
After less than 1 year of using Halo, im starts getting white dots in center of screen. Halo is updated..
After 13 months, my Halo has a white spot almost in the center of the screen, which I believe is a stick pixel. I tried running a youtube video which helps fix stuck pixels. Now I have dozens of these white dots / stuck pixels in a row at the top and bottom of the display area.
I've already emailed support, and was told it's up to me to pay to ship back and forth to HK from the USA, and to pay for repair. Considering I got this on Black Friday sale 2019, and it's problems started around the week of Christmas 2020, this puts me outside the warranty.
This might be an issue that folks need to be warned about or consider before buying. I am not happy to have a $799 item that I have to replace after just over a year.
@ericmoolin Your experience and mine are different. The audio over bluetooth is a delayed sound, not ahead of the video. Using my JBL bluetooth speakers is about 1.5 second, not ms, delay.
I agree with you though, that rather than have Xgimi try and tune it, a menu selector would probably be the best answer so we can all manage our own.
I also would like an audio offset control. Trying to use a bluetooth speaker is painful because of the 1.5-2 second delay for the audio after the video.
I would also like to see an audio sync control. This would allow me to use bluetooth speakers. Right now, trying to use bluetooth has a 1.5 - 2 second delay with the speaker literally sitting on top of the halo.
Hello,
I would like the community to get some updates on open issues:
Thanks!
Any update on the volume issue I reported?
How about HULU support? It still pauses during playback.
Thanks!
@Ari
I was using both Sling, ESPN+, and a couple games on my PS4, not video files.
This only happened after the first use after the update, every time after that has not been as loud.
It was easily noticed by everyone in my family, because we only had the volume at about 40% after the update. Normally we have to use it around 90% in our living room to hear things.
The increased volume seems to have been lost after turning off the projector for the night.
Any reason? It really was nice having that extra volume available, particular if I want to use it in my back yard.
Noticed the speakers are much louder now, and the focus seems sharper.
Awesome! Thank you!
I understand you are excited for the update, but I would rather a quality release than a rush.
@CooleRnax gotcha!
Thought you found a feature option I had missed.
Not sure which device you have, but it's going through certification for the Halo.
You can always cast from a mobile device or chrome browser. I think there are other ways on their site, such as using a fire stick.
@silvern
I am also very impressed with my Halo. People that have been over are blown away by how great the picture looks and the built in sound quality.
The only unfortunate thing I can respond is that while using side projection mode, as you are:
Since you can not zoom the image outside of side projection mode, I had to use a tripod in the middle of my living room rather than setting it behind my couch as originally planned.
I also went through a few 100" screens before finding the Yard Master 2, and wow, the screen makes a big difference!
