When casting from other devices such as phones, tablets and laptops, we can connect. However, when playing a video, we receive a media error:
This means we cannot play videos remotely.I have seen it mentioned also here:
Is there a fix being worked on, perhaps a firmware update??

So where app were you using to cast the video? Netflix?
Sorry to say the Netflix and prime video is still in BD process, no one can play their videos without the related certification, and we are working on that. Before we get it down, please try the fire tv stick. Thanks again for your support.

We encountered this error with HBO (also other apps), casting from a different device
@torelocks I know, cause some apps do require the certification indeed. Please stay tuned. And before we finish the BD process, please try the fire tv stick for more streaming apps.
Sorry but we tried with the fire stick, but it doesn't support in our region.
We need the xgimi to support these apps.
Can we expect this to happen?
@torelocks You mean fire tv stick is not supported in your country?
Some specific apps like Prime video, netfix does require the certification, that's why we suggested the fire tv box or you tv for more streaming apps.
Hi, we used Roku stick, but in our region it does not have HBO.
This is why we want the inbuilt app to work OR casting
