This forum/product seems dead, but I'll try anyway:
Wifi is terrible on CC Aurora so I thought I'll try a USB ethernet adapter, but it does not work :/.
"Wired network" is greyed in the connection options so I can't do anything there. In some app providing USB devices list, I found the LAN adapter, so it's connected, but somehow not recognized? No drivers/support for that?
I tried ifconfig and netcfg from terminal, but I end with operation not permitted.
Has anyone tried some LAN adapter, is there any way to make it work?

First I have to say I'm pretty disappointed about XGimi's reaction to this issue. I understand it's an older product with some limitations, but at least you could have looked for some alternatives.
So, guys, if you want to watch Youtube on XGimi CC Aurora, you can install an alternative app "YouTube Vanced" from apk package. I tried version 14.21.54, seems to be working fine. A little sluggish, but we are used to it on CC Aurora, right?
