@WareWolf Hi dear,
Thanks for your support.
As I have mentioned in the previous messages, we are still working on the BD process for native Netflix, would update you when it's finished. And the Netflix with air-mouse function would be added in the next firmware update.
Our tech team is working o the Hulu issue as well.
Halo has 5w *2 speakers which can't be enhanced via firmware update. And the actual volume is related to the video sources as well, appreciate your understanding.
-
@Q630 We have finished the BD process for native Prime video, it would be added in the next firmware update, probably at the end of March, please be patient.
Halo has built-in Chromecast function, you can cast any videos if this app supports chromecast function. Or anything issue are you facing with?

Or anything issue are you facing with?
DLNA with DTCP-IP decode function is the one of most important function of In Japan market.
TV's recording over the air television contents function is very common, and STB recorder too.
Such as LG, Sony, Sharp, Samsung, Toshiba, PalyStation4 and so on.
They have DLNA server with DTCP-IP coded. But they don't have Chromecast function.
Two remote controller are inconvenient, don't you think?
I mean I have to prepare Chromecast side, that is west.
-
@Q630 Halo supports DNLA function as well. And do you have any issue while casting via DLNA?

DLNA app is not a native support app.
As a result, some menus cannot be found or selected.
-
@Q630 yes, I know that. then it's chromecast. May I ask which app do you want to use for video casting? Like prime video, disney+ or ?

@Ari
Any news regarding Netflix support on the H2 Halo? Can you give an indicative timeline to spark some hope, no strings attached?
-
@Borre Hi Borre, Good to hear from you again.
Hmmm we are still working on the BD process, as it's not for us to decide when to get the certification. They shall evaluate many aspects. Please stay tuned.
Sure we would get it one day, with the support from you guys.
-
@Ari Any bottlenecks we can assist with in any way? Or means to raise the priority?
-
@Borre Hi, hope you and your families are all in good health.

I would like to add Disney+ dark/dull videos due to HDR. Games that support HDR also look very dark or washed out. HDR needs more attention/configuration on Halo.
-
@salmanmunawar Hi,
HDR optimization is a long term process, we shall find a way to adjust the hdr effect, please stay tuned for the next update in July.
-
Fixing / better supporting HDR would be great since most new content from Disney+ and other streaming services takes advantage of HDR10. @Ari does halo support 10bit color? Or is it 8bit?
-
I also had a little trouble with hdmi port, it stopped switching to hdmi. After doing some research I reset Halo, had go through the setup process again but that fixed the hdmi currently set to 1.4. I generally use hdmi 2 to enable HDR content from gaming rig and PlayStation.
