The Halo, what is the actual procedure to put The Halo into battery protection mode. I've pressed it for 5 seconds Using the power off switch as written in the manual, page 6 number 9 but the remote still functions to turn on the unit the same. Is there a type of display light that flashes on the unit when it enters the battery protection mode? does it harm the halo if protection mode function is entered to many times? The remote is very sensitive, when traveling I want to preserve the battery and make sure its completely off.

-- Please unplug the power adapter and long-press (5-8S) the power button on Halo.
Does it harm the halo if protection mode function is entered to many times?
--It won't harm the Halo.
