H2 (China version) does not work with Mi Box S

I got a xiaomi mi box S because the H2 China Version does not play Netflix, Prime, etc.
However, when the mi box is plugged into H2 HDMI, it does not appear to be detected by H2 at all (it does not show up as my laptop does when I connect by HDMI). Could someone who has managed to use the mi box S with H2 China version please help?

@nightshade10 hello I had a similar problem with mi box 4 and it was because the screen resolution of mi box was in automatic, I changed it to 1080 and xgimi recognized it immediately.
