Problem with Firmware CC Aurora
-
@pavel_s hi could you please send me global firmaware update 1.2.3?my S/N ECS3J2E3DRSU on adam.robota@gmail.com thx, diky
-
@xrobota Please don't flash the incompatible firmware to avoid the system crash, you two are having two different versions.
-
@xrobota
let it be the projector shits otherwise it does not bring anything we need a complete solution to the problems and only Xgimi can do that because a root would also be of no use if someone did not new firmware and hardware
-
Hi everyone, I'm also having more and more issues with my aurora, troubles with fan speed or unstable wifi, sometimes unstable autofocus... and a big issue with the battery, no more warnings when battery is low, no more led indicator on the CC. I would like to do a hard reset or a clean firmware installation. Thank you! S/N EE46J9BX4RS2

Hi @Ari
I had to do a "restore factory" reset (through the settings menu), and now my CC Aurora projector is always with the "temperature high" message.
I checked the "info" menu and the temperature displays 65o. Only when I unplug the charger the temperature drops to 55o.
I never had this issue before the factory reset.
I don't remember what was the previous firmware but now its GMUI V1.2.0
Please advise.

@Nata Hi Nata, good day.
I've emailed you some further details, please check.

@SW Hi， good day.
Seems you are using the Chinese version, so the global version of firmware won't work on your projector and lead to some system issue instead, could you please check with our Chinese service team: https://www.xgimi.com/cn/service.html
-
I can't understand that nothing happens and we are not helped that our devices work as they were bought and advertised by them.
It can't be that you don't even keep us up to date on fixing the errors.
-
My Cc Aurora projector spontaneously shuts off after 10-60 seconds and sometimes does not power on when on battery power; battery indicator says fully charged. Any tips? Can I update the firmware? Serial #2AFENG03V
-
@njorgen serial number is actually EE46J974DRSC
-
@njorgen Hi dear，sorry to hear that.
Does it overheat? If it's a hardware issue, then can't be fixed via firmware update.
Any error reprot before the auto-off?
Please email to service@xgimi.com for more details.
-
@Ari there is no error report and no overheating. Interestingly enough sometimes the projector will still last 3 hours on battery power before shutting off but the battery icon always says full. Seems like there is a problem with either the firmware or hardware. Would it be possible to get the latest firmware for this device?
-
@njorgen Ok, please tell me the email address, I'll send the firmware to check.
